This Amazing Cafe MOC Will Make You A Coffee Lover

Brandon’s cafe MOC has been making it’s rounds but I only just got time to really take a good look at it only recently. He previously built a bicycle showroom MOC which featured a two storey glass wall.

The concept challenge for this MOC was simple. To design and create a cosy environment for one to sip and enjoy a cup of coffee in the middle of the night.

And Brandon has definitely achieved that with the a cool combination of blacks and whites swathed with soothing warm lighting.

One of the major highlights for me was how the structure is kept simple, right angles to form square spaces, but the fixtures are a mix of curve bricks and round dishes. This sheds a nice contrast to the flat exteriors.

The lighting is another thing to marvel about this MOC as he was not only able to place the light sources at all the precise points of the interiors, he has managed to hide the cables from plain sight.

And even the name of the place, “UiL” is a cute play on the word “Owl” which is the mascot of the cafe itself. You can see the white owl accessory from the Harry Potter sets that is littered throughout the interiors too.

Looking at these photos makes me really wish I could grab my coat and just head to this cafe for real and order me up a cup of joe right about now.

A brand new café is in town! Uil Café is open from 5pm to 10am daily. It is the most happening place catering people especially the night owls and evening people who tend to stay up until late at night. Besides that, we also welcome those who are looking for a friends’ chit-chat session after working hours, family dinner, friends gathering activities such as a surprise birthday party at 12am or someone who just want to have a cup of coffee alone with a peaceful mind and enjoy themselves on a sleepless night.
