The LEGO master builders have been hard at work constructing this three meter tall “2×4” LEGO brick that was just delivered to the Flatiron district in New York City.

It took them a total of 350 man hours to build and 130,000 individual LEGO bricks weighing in at more than half a tonne!

The larger than life “2×4” brick will be at the Flatiron Plaza till 4pm Sunday, January 28th which is the exact date for the 60th Anniversary so if you’re in the vicinity, do check it out as it will be gone by this Sunday.

This is just one of the many ways that LEGO is celebrating the anniversary of the LEGO brick patent this year with some Walmart exclusive LEGO sets and the LEGO Building Bigger Thinking 60th Anniversary sets with the exclusive printed tiles.
