LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) Official Announcement!
I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and it is with great pleasure to be able to finally announce the official LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) set!
This LEGO Ideas project was first introduced in 2016 by len_d69 and it was one of the fastest to reach the 10,000 supporters requirement to be considered being made into an actual LEGO set! Now after two years, we are right on the precipice of actually owning our very own LEGO Voltron set come August!
This LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) set clocks in at a 2,321 pcs which makes it the largest LEGO Ideas set ever produced to this date.
And that is not the only milestone for this LEGO Ideas project. It is also the first ever LEGO Ideas set that combines to form one larger model. LEGO has made mechs before but nothing like this.
There are five individual buidable lions that combine to form Voltron which stands at a staggering 40cm.
There are no ‘new’ elements created for this set (as with all LEGO Ideas sets) but there are new colours for existing parts like the chrome triangular signs and gold Wheel Spanner for the chest piece.
The LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) will be available to LEGO VIP members on 23rd July and August 1st to the general public. It will have a recommended retail price of SGD$299.90 for Singapore, RM849.96 in Malaysia and HKD1599 for Hong Kong. August 1st cannot come fast enough!

- Features 5 buildable and posable lions that can be transformed and combined to create the giant
Voltron super robot. - Play with the lions individually or combine them using extra-strong joints to form Voltron—the black
lion forms the head and torso; the red and green lions form the arms; and the yellow and blue lions
form the legs. - Pose the head, shoulders, arms and wrists of Voltron (legs are not posable).
