LEGO Group CEO Niels B. Christiansen Mystery LEGO Set!

Earlier this morning, the LEGO Group CEO, Niels B. Christiansen, sent his holiday greetings for the close of 2020 and inadvertently revealed a mystery LEGO set that I have never seen before.

The box design share a similar motif to the LEGO employee christmas gift this year but the dimensions are a little bit smaller and there seems to bound by a bit of red string.

This is how this year’s LEGO Employee Christmas Gift looks like:

Could the set that was featured in the background of Neil’s Christmas greetings photo a super exclusive LEGO set meant only for shareholders and CEOs?

Or could it be something that is coming our way in 2021? Any info would be super helpful!

(Thanks to Wooden Duck for pointing it out!)

Here is the full holiday greeting:

At the end of the holiday season, Lego Group CEO Niels B. Christiansen sent a sincere holiday greeting:

I believe that when we look back at 2020 years later, we will still remember this year when the spread of the global epidemic brought many negative effects on people’s lives.

For me, 2020 is also a year full of good memories.

I am very proud of being able to serve a company that has always lived up to its values.

During the epidemic, we produced and provided protective equipment for medical staff all over the world, and always put the safety of our employees first, which made me very proud.

At the same time, we are able to adapt to changes and bring innovative play experiences to adults and children in new ways, which I am very pleased with.

At the same time, the development of digital technology enables people everywhere to connect together in new ways, although it cannot replace the face-to-face interaction between people.

I will always remember the laughter and laughter in my work and life in 2020, and look forward to the coming 2021, I can create more beautiful things and keep happy!

Here, I send my most sincere holiday greetings and wish you all a happy new year!

    It seems very flat.
So it’s not a box of lego.
    Couldn’t it be wrappingpaper?
Or some kind of lego dot mosaic?

That’s what it makes me think of.

  17. If you look at the box more closely, you can tell that has of the LEGO Dots logo, so it looks like it’s probably going to be another new set of Lego dots.

  23. Dear MR. LEGO,. I want to say I could never thank you enough,as all your Legos got my autistic son through 2020 during the pandemic!!!! Like seriously sir!!!! You should see his room!!!!! It looks like something out of LEGO LAND. Awww, yea. Me,his mom? That’s a continual coffee, and school lectures and assignments here. My son, is thirteen years old kind sir, and mentioned something about can we create both an avengers marvel and star wars in one LEGO? Awww!!!
