LEGO Star Wars UCS Y-Wing Starfighter (75181) Officially Announced!

After that accidental shelf reveal of the LEGO UCS Y-Wing a couple of days ago, LEGO has officially announced the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series Y-Wing (75181) with a slew of new product images.

This new Y-Wing is 482pcs more than its predecessor which was originally released in 2004 and it is minifigure scale.

The set comes with one Y-Wing Gold Leader minifigure and an R2-BHD Droid and will retail at US $199.99 / CA $279.99 / DE 199.99€ / UK £169.99 / DK 1799.00 DKK.

I think this is a much welcome update for such an iconic original trilogy and it has a few play features like movable turrets and landing gears.
