LEGO VP Design Teases Licensed Collectible Minifigures Series

LEGO Vice President of Design, Matthew Ashton, has been conducting some quick Question & Answer sessions on his Instagram lately (he teased the rumoured Queer Eye Apartment Set in his previous session).

In his latest Q&A, he revealed that one of his “dream” license minifigure series will be released in 2022. He didn’t mention which license specifically but many have been speculating that it could be more “Sesame Street” characters since LEGO already acquired the license for the LEGO Ideas Sesame Street (21324) set.

One of my dream licences is actually on the way. Not going to be able to tell you what it is. Lips are zipped. so you’ll just have to wait and see!

Or maybe it could be a Scooby Doo Minifigure series as Matthew has mentioned that another one of his dreams was to take 80’s cartoons and turn them into LEGO themes.

What do you think the next licensed LEGO Collectible Minifigure series will be? Comment below!
