January 2022 is just a few months away and there has been quite a bit of rumours and speculation on the next modular.
Thanks to our friends over at Promobricks, we now have the first details on the next addition to LEGO’s modular street.
From what we can gather, the next modular building will feature a hotel and an art gallery. Some have speculated that it could be a re-release of the original Cafe Corner (10182) but from the looks of it, it is a brand new design.
The design is a bit of a departure from the traditional modular buildings and the closest structure that we could reference to would be the Flatiron building in New York.
There will be an art gallery that is located on the ground floor which is an extension of the main building. This modular hotel will consist of a total of six minifigures and it should retail for €199.99.
There is also talk of a gift with purchase that ties in with the modular series as 2022 is the 15th anniversary of the launch of the LEGO modular series.
I am actually quite intrigued by this modular is touted to possess a non-traditional design that fits on a 32 x 32 baseplate.
