A record breaking 57 entries are vying for a spot on the LEGO store shelves this season and it begs the question, do we need to refine the criteria for inclusion.
Don’t get me wrong, I believe that all the projects above deserve the recognition based on the merit of their design and concept but I also do feel that since LEGO usually selects only one or two finalists per review, there are a LOT of deserving projects that do not get selected for production.
Here is the list of projects that have made the final review stage:
There was one more project that made it to 10,000 supporters but had to be removed due to the intellectual properties guidelines.
What would your picks be? If I had to pick two, it would be The X-Files by Brent Waller and The Violin by Samuel Ho but honestly, I would love for more projects to make it to the store shelves.
