LEGO Wicked Sets Officially Revealed!
After the recent debacle of embargo dates with Universal, LEGO has finally (so we hope) confirmed the exact time that we are able to release these images so here we are.
There will be four sets in this initial wave of LEGO Wicked sets which is to complement the release of the upcoming movie musical.
LEGO Welcome to Emerald City (75684) – 945 pcs – USD99.99 / SGD159.90
LEGO Glinda’s and Elphaba’s Dormitory (75683) – 740 pcs – USD69.99 / SGD119.90
LEGO Elphaba and Glinda Figures (75682) – 558 pcs – USD59.99 / SGD89.90
LEGO Glinda, Elphaba and Nessarose at Shiz Uni (75681) – 304 pcs – USD29.99 / SGD49.90
While I understand that there was a specific target audience for this, I feel it was a missed opportunity to have them as proper minifigures instead of the mini-dolls.
These sets will see an October 1st launch which will coincide with Universal Studios premiere of their latest dip into their repertoire of IPs, Wicked the Movie Musical.
