More The LEGO Batman Movie Sets & A Brand New Trailer

We had a deluge of The LEGO Batman Movie news today with two more LEGO Batman Movie sets being revealed as well as a brand spanking new trailer for the movie!

USA Today published the official photos to “The Joker Balloon Escape” (70900) and “The Scuttler” (70908).

The Joker Balloon Escape (70900)

This set consists of 124 pcs and includes 2 minifigures; Batman and The Joker.

Batman has the new Utility belt accessory and the Joker has a balloon powered jet pack.

The Joker sports a new face print and extra long coat tails torso accessory as well.

The Scuttler (70908)

While the vehicle looks like some 4 legged steam punk contraption, the minifigures included seem quite decent. The minifigures included are: Commissioner Gordon, Poison Ivy, Joker, Robin, Barbara Gordon, Batman.

The set will contain 775pcs and retail for UD$79.90. Not exactly sure what this vehicle does but I think this is the vehicle that Batman builds in Master builder mode in the trailer.

And to cap off the LEGO Batman news, here is the latest trailer to The LEGO Batman Movie!

It expands on Batman’s vehicular repertoire introducing us to the Bat-Sub, Bat-Zeppelin and Bat Kayak as well as giving us the first glimpse to the minifigure versions of Bat Villains Kite Man, Polka-Dot Man, Zodiac Master, King Tut, March Harriet, Eraser, and Crazy Quilt.

 

I’m sure that there will be more minifigures in the second wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets or these could easily turn up in the LEGO Batman Movie minifigure series.
