LEGO Renault Sport Formula One Team Sets!
Renault Sport Formula One Team are celebrating 40 years of racing with three ultra rare LEGO sets. These are not ‘official’ LEGO sets per sey but they are designed by a LEGO Certified Professional who are ‘trusted partners’ of the LEGO Group.
These sets are ultra rare and they are only available at the Altelier Renault event on the 9th of December in Paris.
Renault Sport Formula One Team RS17 – 828pcs

There are only 100 copies of this ever made which will definitely be sought after by LEGO collectors as this would be an awesome addition to the current line of Creator Cars and the old Racer theme.

This is a smaller rendition of the larger 800+ piece model that is more akin to the LEGO Speed Champions theme. There are 1000 sets of this made so it might be a little easier to get but I would expect the same kind of fervent response for this set as well.

Now this is the a set based on the futuristic concept of where Renault sees itself in 10 years time (50th Anniversary). The kicker for this is that there are only 40 copies of this available and the only way to get one is through a ballot similar to how the SDCC exclusives are distributed.
This set is priced at 375€ (SGD$599) which makes it 1 Euro for each piece.
The event will also showcase the lift sized LEGO model of RS17 that’s been built with more than 300,000 LEGO bricks and the attendees will be able to build their own micro-scale model of the racing car as a part of a LEGO workshop.
