LEGO teased us with a cool trailer for the LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) and today, we have the official first look at the set!
The set features the habitable artificial satellite in its brick built form. It is not minifigure size (thankfully) which makes this a worthy addition to anyone’s work station.
If you noticed, the solar panels are all printed tiles and there are a LOT of them. They appeared previously in the LEGO Ideas Women of NASA (21312) set as part of Nancy Roman’s Hubble telescope build.
The space shuttle looks like it took a page from the one that represented Mae Jemison and Sally Ride from the same set.
The LEGO Ideas International Space Station (21321) will have a recommended retail price of US $69.99 / CA $99.99 / DE €69.99 / UK £64.99 / FR €59.99 / DK 549DKK
This will be available at all LEGO Brand / Certified Stores as well as Shop@Home on February 1st. Do check with your local LEGO store for any promotions or gift with purchases that might come with the set.
There is also a fan designer (Christoph Ruge) meet and greet on the 31st of January at the LEGO Brand Store Nuremberg which is the only chance to get the set before anyone else.
