There has been a leaked image of the upcoming LEGO Colosseum that has been circulating and while we have been instructed not to share it, we are still able to ‘discuss’ the details surrounding the set.

As some of you already know, this is touted to be the largest LEGO set ever released, topping the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon (75192) by about 1500 pieces.

It is also slated to be released next month which is highly likely as there isn’t much of a launch runway considering that we are already in the 4th quarter of 2020.

The LEGO Roman Colosseum has a rumoured price tag of  €599.99 which is approximately SGD$960 and that is no small amount.

I’m really trying to envision what the experience would be like assembling that much tan and dark tan elements. LEGO Big Ben was rather repetitive but it was still overall quite fun the build so hopefully the designers worked in a few cool bits for us to enjoy.

Do you think you would be bored building 9,000 pieces of Tan and Dark Tan? Comment below!

Does Lego have other international landmarks other than the Colosseum?

No, no problem at all to build this fantastic piece of Lego art. If they would send it now I’d start straight away building 😁. Here we’re not talking about a toy, this is a massive piece of architecture for which you should take your time.

I would love to build the colosseum. Would be a challenge. 9000 pieces would be so much fun. Will definitely buy this

Too bad it isn’t to minifig scale 🙁
Oh, the epic battles which could be portrayed!

    • Lars S says:

Hehe. And it could come with 100 legionaries, centurions and whatnot minifigs. I have a feeling this will not happen anytime soon. And it it were, it would be 90.000 bricks instead

  6. Antonio Perez says:

Not at all! Actually it would be great to build such a magnificent kit. I am all for it.
