LEGO Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion 40521 Officially Revealed!

We had a quick glimpse of this set earlier last week and now LEGO’s purchasing portal Shop@Home has updated their catalogue with the official listing.

This would be the second entry into the Micro Scaled Disneyland attraction sub-theme with the first being the LEGO Mini Disney Castle (40478)

The Haunted Mansion is one of the more popular attractions at Disneyland and I’m actually quite intrigued as how LEGO is going to expand on this series.

The set features the aforementioned Haunted Mansion in space-saving micro scale and will only consist of 630pcs to create this display piece.

It also comes with a butler minifigure with an exclusive torso and leg print although I was hoping that we would finally get an official Eddie Murphy minifigure.

There is even interiors of the dining room from the back complete with chandelier and a gallery of paintings in micro scale.

LEGO Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion 40521 will have a recommended retail price of USD$39.99 / €39,99 and a street date of August 1st at all LEGO Brand and Certified Stores.

I know that everyone has been clamouring for a minifigure scaled Haunted Mansion and honestly it wouldn’t be too far a stretch considering that we do have both the large scaled Disney Castle (71040) and the mini version.

Now that we have the micro scaled Haunted Mansion, it would be safe to assume that a full sized interpretation is around the corner.
