LEGO Marvel The X-Mansion 76294 Official Reveal!

LEGO Marvel The X-Mansion 76294 is a set that is long overdue which makes this announcement so much sweeter to writer about.

I’ve been a fan of the X-men since the Jim Lee comics run back in 1992 along with the X-men animated series of that time so this is really a walk down nostalgia lane for me.

There a host of characters featured in this set with Professor X and Magneto leading the roster with Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Bishop, Iceman, Storm and Cyclops.

While this would be the first time we’re seeing some characters, I’m still a bit bummed that we won’t get the full line up of Gold and Blue teams in this set.

Besides being a vehicle for minifigures, the X-Mansion is quite a beast of a modular building with six different rooms that can be separated individually.Each room is like a little vignette depicting areas of the X-men headquarters like the Danger Room and Cerebro.

The set will consist of 3093 pcs and have a side span of 38cm and a height of 27cm. This piece count also includes a brick built sentinel.

The LEGO Marvel X-Mansion 76294 will have a recommended retail price of USD329.99 / €329.99 and will start it’s shelf life on the 1st of November 2024.

 

While I’m super stoked that we’re finally getting the X-mansion in LEGO form, it still looks like a retooled LEGO Modular Natural History Museum 10326.

Granted that they have a similar facade but perhaps they could have gone with a different kind of facade for the museum so that the uniqueness of the X-mansion could be preserved.
