LEGO Funan Mall Show Model Is Now Open!

Whenever you require to have a show suite on display it would most likely be made out of the traditional book boards and scale wood.

However, the people behind the new Funan Mall decided to opt for the alternative medium of LEGO bricks.

Designers Eugene Tan and Xylvie Wong were tasked to create a 1:100 scale accurate model of the brand new Funan shopping / lifestyle mall which consists of over 65,000 bricks and 33m of LED lights.

This LEGO shopping mall has sections that reflect the many amenities that the actually mall will have like the roof gardens, soccer pitches and even housing residences.

The model was so big (49 32×32 baseplates) that they had to split it into several sections so that it would be able to fit through the doors.

The Funan showsuite is located at the junction of Hill Street and High Street and is open to the public from 11am to 9pm so you can actually check out this amazing model in person.
