LEGO Black Panther Is Getting His Own LEGO Movie

During the New York Comic Convention, Marvel Vice President of Animation announced that they will be teaming up with The LEGO Group to produce Black Panther: Trouble In Wakanda!

This is actually quite interesting as this would be the first time there was a solo animated movie for one particular LEGO Marvel character. The last LEGO Marvel animated series that I can recall was the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload in 2013.

I doubt this would actually make it to the theatres as this feels more like a direct to DVD/Blu-ray type fare which is great for AFOLs as there usually is an exclusive LEGO minifigure that gets bundled with these releases.

No synopsis has been released nor is the premiere date known as yet but this would be a great tie-in for the actual live-action Black Panther movie coming out next year.
