It was a tough year for LEGO in 2018 but it looks like they have bounced back in a big way in 2019!
Revenue was clocked at DKK 38.5 Billion which is a 6% uptake from 2018. Consumer sales saw a bump of 5.6% as well. There was a 3% in overall profits despite the fact that the LEGO Group investing in various long term initiatives.

It is also worth to note that the only two licensed themes on that list had huge tentpole movies to back them last year. The LEGO Ideas Friends set was listed as the fastest selling set for 2019.
LEGO is seeing double digit growth in the China market thanks to the 140 stores that has opened in 35 different provinces. There are plans to double that amount in the year 2020 so we can probably expect more Chinese-centric sets.
They are also planning to open a LEGO India office in 2020 so that would be probably another market that they are trying to penetrate. Either way, the future of LEGO looks a lot rosier than it did two years ago.
